ZION NATIONAL PARK FROM VEGAS

Updated: Aug 26

Zion park surprised me with its natural beauty and I definitely can say that it is high on my “most beautiful national parks” list in the USA.

  • Why Zion? One of the greatest National Parks with amazing nature in the USA.

  • Top Things to see - Angels Landing and Riverside Walk.

  • Best time to visit - Spring and Autumn.

  • Safety - Safe.

  • Costs - Reasonable.

It is located in Utah, close to Nevada boarder about 2.5 hour drive away from Las Vegas, which is where I visited park from. Drive is straight forward (as it is in many parts of the USA). There is an entrance fee per vehicle $35 to enter and visit Zion National Park. Annual pass for the park costs $70. Zion is not a big park and it does not take long to drive around and see it all, I would say less than 2 hours. There are a lot of hikes from easy to more challenging ones like Angels Landing. You can also camp in the park. After completing Riverside walk that is 3.5km long and takes about 1.5hrs and driving around for couple of hours it was time to set back to Vegas.
